Woven mesh fabric

 

Woven mesh fabric is produced through traditional weaving techniques, with its core characteristics being structural stability and a crisp and upright texture.

One is the leno weave, which is formed by twisting the ground warp and the leno warp to create a shed, and then interweaving with the weft yarn. This process produces a mesh fabric with regular and sturdy pores that are resistant to deformation. The other is the pseudo-leno weave, which is formed through jacquard weave or adjusting the reed-in weaving method. The pores of this weave are slightly less stable, but it can produce rich patterns. The raw materials are mostly pure cotton, polyester, or chemical fiber blended yarn. After being bleached and dyed, it is not only suitable for making summer shirts and dresses, but also an ideal fabric for household items such as mosquito nets and curtains. Some high-strength varieties can also be used for industrial screening.

Based on the weaving method, it can be divided into two categories: weft-knitted and warp-knitted. Among them, warp-knitted mesh fabric is mostly woven by high-speed warp-knitting machines, resulting in superior quality. Weft-knitted mesh fabric is soft and has good elasticity, often used for clothing lining and partial splicing of sportswear; warp-knitted mesh fabric, on the other hand, has a stable structure and high tensile strength, with a rich variety of subcategories.

 

 

Nonwoven mesh fabric

 

Also known as nonwoven mesh fabric, it is made through nonwoven processes such as needle punching and thermal bonding, featuring high production efficiency and low cost. Its characteristics include lightness, thinness, and excellent breathability, but its structural stability and wear resistance are relatively poor. It is mainly used in disposable sanitary products, filtration materials, agricultural covers, and other fields. With technological advancements, nonwoven mesh fabrics incorporating high-performance materials such as carbon fiber and aramid have gradually been applied in high-end fields such as aerospace and military.

 

 

Based on raw materials and functions, functional mesh fabrics can also be categorized, such as eco-friendly polyester mesh fabric, antibacterial mesh fabric, high-temperature resistant mesh fabric, etc., to meet the current demands for green environmental protection and special scenarios.
