Types of woven fabrics

Plain, satin, twill

Weaving method

The weaving method of plain weave fabrics is to interweave the warp and weft yarns every other yarn. During the weaving process, plain weave fabrics interweave the warp and weft yarns to form parallel patterns

During the weaving process of twill fabric, the warp and weft yarns are interlaced at least once every two yarns. The warp and weft yarns are interlaced to form a diagonal pattern, and the weaving points are continuous by increasing the warp and weft interlacing points

Transforming the weaving method of fabric organization layout to weave fabrics, the number of times warp and weft yarns are interwoven up and down is less than that of plain weave, and the yarn arrangement is closer, resulting in a denser and thicker texture than plain weave fabrics

During the weaving process of satin fabrics, the warp and weft yarns are interwoven at least once every three yarns, and at least five warp/weft yarns must be interlaced to form a complete satin weave. The warp and weft yarns form separate and disconnected warp and weft weave points in the fabric, with fewer warp and weft yarns interwoven and the least interwoven points. The surface of the fabric with the longest floating line is almost entirely composed of warp or weft floating lines

Fabric characteristics

Plain weave fabrics have many interweaving points, with a firm texture and a flat surface. The appearance of the front and back sides is the same, and they are relatively light and thin, with good breathability

The interweaving points of warp and weft lines in twill fabric exhibit an angle on the surface of the fabric, resulting in a structural form of twill lines. Its characteristic is that it has a positive and negative distinction, fewer interweaving points, and a higher density

The product is relatively thick and has a strong sense of three-dimensional organization. There are 30, 40, and 60 branches in total

The density of satin fabric is higher, the fabric is thicker, and the fabric surface is smoother, delicate, soft to the touch, with good luster, bright color, good elasticity, tight texture, and not easily deformed

Sustainable fabric | recycled

Sustainable innovation will play a crucial role in the future of retail and clothing, and this new fabric innovation demonstrates Shangyu's commitment to creating a healthier environment through progress in product development. The tactile feel of Shangyu fabric is the key to causing so much resonance in its products, bringing the same feeling and quality that customers expect from Shangyu, while increasing the use of renewable resources

Regenerated sunscreen fabric

Global technological change is changing the world, and an accelerating green industrial revolution is profoundly affecting human life. The modernization of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature will inevitably accelerate the comprehensive and in-depth promotion of green and low-carbon transformation and development in China's textile and chemical fiber industry. Regenerated sunscreen fabric is a sunscreen fabric woven from recycled fibers, which achieves sunscreen by adding sunscreen additives or sunscreen yarn count. Regenerated fibers mainly come from recycled polyester fibers used in PET beverage bottles. Based on this, the recycled sunscreen fabric still retains functional properties such as cooling, breathability, waterproofing, and portability. Empowered by technology, it is environmentally friendly and stylish

Regenerated sunscreen fabric

Empowering clothing with green and innovative technology, driving the world towards a better direction through the power of fabrics

The production of recycled materials requires the following steps: first, the recycled plastic bottles are crushed, cleaned, and melted to produce white polyester particles. These particles are then melted and spun into fine yarn, which is then further spun into fabric

Sunscreen fabric

At present, there are often two types of sunscreen fabrics on the market: one is the auxiliary process of applying a sunscreen layer to the fabric; Another type is the raw yarn process - the fabric raw yarn carries sunscreen factor
