Shangyu Recycled Fabric Series

This series use recycled polyester fabric made from recycled plastic bottles and developed with health and environmental protection technology. On average, eleven 550ML plastic recycled bottles are able to make enough recycled polyester fabric for one piece of technology clothing.

Shangyu cooperates with supplier partner, through the physical chemistry of polyester textiles, to realize efficient regeneration from discarded plastic bottles to polyester fibers and reduce general costs by 30-50%. After more than a year of hard work, hundreds of experiments, and many technical difficulties, our company has become a domestic fabric supplier that sets the inspection standards for recycled polyester enterprises. At the same time, through unique technological innovation that we add traceable elements to the recycled polyester spinning process, it realizes that there are traces from yarn, fabric and garments to ensure that the environmental standards and procedures are accurate and complete.

At the same time, our company receives GRS certification，and launches a series of recycled fabric.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS), a third-party certification standard for the use of recycled fibre after the recovery of used textiles, was originally developed by the Netherlands regulatory union and implemented in January 2008. In January 2011, the Dutch regulatory union transferred the copyright of the global textile recycling standard to American Textile Exchange.

GRS is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets out requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions and labeling for textile products made from recycled materials. The goal of the GRS is to increase use of recycled materials in products and reduce or eliminate the harm caused by its production.

· Principles of GRS Certification：

The GRS is intended for use with any product that contains at least 20% recycled material. Some exceptions may apply, based on Textile Exchange Accreditation and Certification Procedures for the derogation process. The Standard applies to any verified Recycled Material and may apply to any supply chain. The Standard provides verification of chain of custody for Recycled Material, in accordance with the Content Claim Standard.

Passed verification from the certification body accepted by Textile Exchange ,based on conformance with this Standard，certification body will issue the GRS certificate. Subject to GRS Logo Use and Claims Guide requirements, companies can use GRS Logo and Special declarations in publicity and product sales. Apply for GRS certification must meet requirement of Traceability, Environmental, Social, Label, General.
